Vernon North Okanagan RCMP are calling a fire that destroyed a home in Armstrong “suspicious.”

“Occupants of the home and community members are understandably shaken from this event as recent arsons have occurred in the Arnstrong area, however this fire is being treated as a separate suspcious incident and is not considered linked to the previous arsons in the area,” Cst. Kelly Brett said in a news release.

The RCMP are working with the Armstrong Fire Department on the investigation.
