The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has been called to investigate after a vehicle crashed into a median on Highway 401, east of Wellington Road in London.
Middlesex OPP were called to reports of a crash involving a grey SUV at around 10 p.m. Wednesday.
The vehicle’s occupant left the scene, and was found nearby and arrested by police. He was taken to the hospital by emergency medical services, for injuries as a result of the crash.
The OPP notified the SIU, which has invoked its mandate. Provincial police say they won’t be providing more information on the matter.
