On Friday, the Calgary Police Service said it is investigating several fraudulent online transactions.

Investigators said the suspect responded to ads posted online, texting the victims that he had tickets to sell. He then offered up a picture of an Alberta drivers’ licence on top of a Calgary Fire Department (CFD) uniform as identification – either volunteering the information or providing it on request.
