BC1, B.C.’s first 24-hour news channel, launched on March 14, 2013.

It is now available on Telus, channel 845. However, it is not available on Telus Optik TV.

It is also still available on Shaw.

In the Lower Mainland, Shaw customers will have two options to watch BC1, on 21 for SD and 216 for HD.

Outside the Lower Mainland, BC1 is carried on channel 111.

BC1 SD (CH 21) or (CH 111) is only available for Shaw customers with a cable box.

On CH 21 Analog cable, there is no longer a channel present.

BC 1 HD (CH 216) is only available for Shaw customers with a newer model cable box.

On older cable boxes the viewer may only hear the sound but not see pictures.

BC 1 is not yet available on Shaw Direct satellite receivers

BC 1 is not available on Bell TV.
