Lindsay Lohan has announced that she is the new spokesperson for Lawyer.com.
In a new video for the lawyer directory service, released on Tuesday, Lohan pokes fun at her past, highly-publicized legal troubles stemming from drug and alcohol use.
“When Lawyer.com first reached out to me, I was confused and a little scared because I thought I was in trouble,” Lohan says in the ad. “But when they asked me to be their spokesperson, I was intrigued. After meeting with the team, I realized Lawyer.com is just about helping people from getting a DUI — Let’s not pretend like I didn’t get one, or two or three, or some others.”

Beginning in 2007, Lohan was arrested for reckless driving, driving under the influence and shoplifting. She was convicted in three cases and has been sentenced to rehab numerous times for skipping counselling sessions or failing to perform her court-ordered community service.
At the end of the 40-second ad, Lohan winks after saying, “Because at Lawyer.com, we’re always here for you.”
A press release reveals that the actress “will also act as marketing and brand advisor” and “each month she will meet and brainstorm with Lawyer.com management on new strategies to raise Lawyer.com’s awareness.”
