It’s fortunate no-one was in the way when a car drove into the front doors of a Kelowna business during the noon hour Friday.
It happened at the Buckerfield’s store on Springfield Road.

The motorist told a witness she accidentally stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake when entering a parking stall.
“She was in a lot of shock,” said Shawna Clark. “Not hurt but scared and worried.”
The woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance for observation.
The door frame was damaged and glass panes were shattered.
The banged-up car was towed away.
