For the second straight week, Winnipeg Jets forward Patrik Laine has been chosen as one of the league’s top players.
Laine scored five goals in three games en route to being named the NHL‘s First Star of the Week. He was also recognized last Monday after putting up seven points in a span of seven days.

Laine is currently tied for the league lead in goals with 40 in 68 games. He’s also posted at least a point in a franchise-record 11 straight games.
Laine began the week by registering his fourth career hat trick in Tuesday’s victory over the New York Rangers. He also had a goal against both the New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia Flyers.
