Get ready for lots of slop and slush as we head into a big warm up.
Saskatoon Forecast
Friday
A little bit of light snow started the day in Saskatoon as temperatures warmed up from the mid-minus teens overnight, up to around -12 during the morning with wind chills just into the -20s.
The climb continued into the day with partly to mostly sunny skies and a breezy southeasterly wind with gusts upwards of 30 to 40 km/h as we popped up into minus single digits before noon.
Mostly cloudy skies linger into the afternoon with a slight chance of flurries late in the day as winds ease and the mercury slides up into mid-minus single digits for a daytime high.

Friday Night
Clouds stick around through the night with a chance of a little more light snow through the evening before easing overnight as conditions cool back toward the minus teens.
Saturday
-20 is around what it’ll feel like with wind chill Saturday morning as we see clouds clear early in the day.
Beautiful blue skies and sunshine will kick into full swing later on thanks to high pressure digging in, which will help warm us all the way to an afternoon high around -3 degrees.
Sunday
Pure sunshine will stick around for the entire day on Sunday as a big, broad upper ridge of high pressure moves in aloft.
After a cooler start in the mid-minus teens with morning wind chills into the mid -20s, we’re expecting the mercury to pump up toward the freezing mark for an afternoon high, so expect some slushy roads!
Work Week Outlook
That ridge will hang on for at least the first part of the work week, helping keep us under mostly sunny skies with daytime highs around or just above the freezing mark before a system is expected to move in and bring in a chance of precipitation to end off the second week of March.
