Late night crash in Zorra, Ont. sends one to hospital

One person is in hospital and a section of Highway 19 remains closed following a crash in the Township of Zorra.

Shortly after 11 p.m. Friday, Oxford County OPP along with Oxford County Paramedic Services and the Thamesford Fire Department responded to the scene of the crash on Highway 19 between Highway 2 and County Road 74.

Police say the lone occupant of the vehicle was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No other details were immediately available, but OPP say they will release an update when they have more information.

Highway 19 is closed between Highway 2 and County Road 74, while they investigate.

Motorists are asked to respect the road closure and avoid the area.
