Highway 1 eastbound at Old Banff Coach Road is open again following a closure earlier Friday morning.

Traffic was moving freely in the area as of noon, RCMP said in a news release.

Police were advising motorists to avoid that section of the highway due to earlier reports of collisions and cars in the ditch.
