Manitoba RCMP investigating suspicious death of 40-year-old woman

Manitoba RCMP are investigating a death they believe is suspicious.

On Feb. 26 at around 8 a.m., officials received a report from a passerby of an unresponsive 40-year-old woman in a ditch.

She was found along Provincial Road 354 south of Oak River.

Emergency crews transported the woman to hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

RCMP’s Major Crime Services continues to investigate.
