The President of Travel Manitoba, Colin Ferguson told 680 CJOB they have been running TV ads in North Dakota to promote what Winnipeg has to offer.

“This past year we ran television adds in outdoor markets like Fargo, Grand Forks and Moorhead” Ferguson said.

“We’re focusing on the things that we believe that a U.S. customer would come for.”

Ferguson said Travel Manitoba has advertised the Journey to Churchill exhibit at the Assiniboine Park Zoo, as well as the new outlet mall and various professional sports teams that call our city home.
