Warman RCMP say an 18-year-old man is dead after a pedestrian collision on Highway 12 north of Martensville, Sask.

The collision happened at around 7 a.m. CT on Feb. 24 when a southbound vehicle struck the man in the driving lane.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. His name has not been released.

The driver was not injured and co-operated fully with the investigation.

RCMP said charges are not currently being considered, although the investigation is ongoing with the help of the coroner’s office.

Martensville is approximately 10 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
