The Moose Jaw Warriors doubled up the Saskatoon Blades 4-2 in Western Hockey League (WHL) action on Sunday.

Warriors forward Brayden Burke had two goals and an assist. Ryan Peckford opened scoring for Moose Jaw, while Jayden Halbgewachs concluded scoring with an empty-netter.

Braylon Shmyr and Josh Paterson scored for Saskatoon.

Goaltender Adam Evanoff made 33 saves for the Warriors. Nolan Maier stopped 32 shots in front of a home crowd of 3,662 fans at SaskTel Centre.

Moose Jaw (46-12-3) continues to lead the WHL in points with 95.

Saskatoon (31-29-3) is still hanging on to the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, ahead of the Prince Albert Raiders by two points.

The Blades host the Lethbridge Hurricanes (30-25-6) next on March 2.
