NORTH BAY, Ont. – Ontario’s police watchdog have released the name of a man who died during an interaction with officers in North Bay.
The Special Investigations Unit say Gordon Couverette, 43, went into medical distress after police were called to a domestic dispute early Thursday morning.
Officials say Couverette was taken to hospital, where he died a short time later.
Four investigators and two forensic professionals have been assigned to the case.
