Icy road conditions caught a number of Okanagan motorists off-guard Thursday morning.

At least three vehicles skidded off Highway 97 in West Kelowna, just south of Glenrosa Road.

One driver who lost control before hitting the ditch says she was completely caught off-guard by a patch of black ice.

Two other vehicles behind her also lost control and ended up in the ditch after hitting the same patch.
