Kutcher and Moore announced their separation in 2011 after six years of marriage and were officially divorced in 2013.
The That ’70s Show actor — now married to Mila Kunis with two children — shared details about how he fasted and went off the grid following the divorce.
“Right after I got divorced, I went to the mountains for a week by myself,” he told Shepard, revealing he spent seven days in Big Sky, Mont.
“I did no food, no drink — just water and tea,” he continued. “I took all my computers away, my phone, my everything. I was there by myself, so there was no talking. I just had a notepad, a pen and water and tea — for a week.”

Kutcher admitted he started to hallucinate on day two, which led him to doing Tai chi with his own energy, even though he’s never participated in the martial arts practice before.
“I started to hallucinate on day two, which was fantastic,” he said.
“I was just doing what came to me,” he laughed. “It was pretty wonderful. I was doing Tai chi with my own energy”
The former Punk’d host occupied his time by getting introspective about past break-ups. “I wrote down every single relationship that I had where I felt like there was some grudge or some anything and then I wrote letters to every single person and sent the letters on day seven. I typed them all out and sent them.”

Kutcher said his experience at the retreat was “really spiritual and kind of awesome.”
Kutcher and Moore both released separate statements following their divorce.
The Ranch star’s statement said, “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and, unfortunately, sometimes they fail.”
In her statement, Moore said, “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.”
