HALIFAX – Halifax police say a man accused of murdering a prostitute in 2010 took investigators to remains believed to be that of the victim, Nadine Anne Taylor.
Police issued a statement Friday saying Steven Elliot Laffin took officers to a wooded area off Inletview Drive in East Chezzetcook earlier in the day.
Taylor was reported missing July 31, 2010.
The 29-year-old woman was last seen days earlier when she left her Halifax apartment to use a pay phone to call a friend.
Laffin was charged with second-degree murder less than three months later.
He is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court on Thursday.
