TORONTO – Facebook users, get ready for another change to the appearance of your Facebook timeline.
According to multiple reports, the social network is testing a new timeline design with users in New Zealand that features new content layout and a slimmed-down toolbar at the top of the user’s profile.
Screenshots obtained by The Next Web show a new single-column design that displays posts more evenly on the profile page and a repositioned “About” section spanning the left side of the page.

The slimmed-down toolbar at the top of the page includes the user’s timeline, about, friends and photos sections as well as a ‘more’ option, but no longer displays them as large photo tiles, Mashable notes.
Facebook has been known to use New Zealand as their testing ground for new features of the social networking site.
Facebook also announced a media event at their headquarters in California on March 7 on Friday, inviting members of the media to “come see a new look for News Feed.”
But users may have to wait a while before seeing changes to their profile pages.
In January, Facebook announced ‘Graph Search’ at a similar media event, but the feature is still in “limited release” meaning only some users are able to test out the enhanced search engine tool.
