RCMP in northern Manitoba are thanking the public for their help in locating a youth missing from Thompson.

Police issued a release Monday saying they were concerned for the safety of 17-year-old Lucas Soulier, who was last seen Jan. 7.

RCMP information officer Tara Seel confirmed early Tuesday that Soulier had been found safe and sound.
