The RCMP says the contents of a suspicious package found in the parkade of an apartment building in Leduc, Alta. Thursday afternoon have been determined to be a “non-threat.”
An employee of a building on Keystone Crescent notified police at 12:52 p.m.

RCMP, along with Leduc Fire Services and Transit, evacuated the affected apartment building.
As of 2:30 p.m., the RCMP Explosives Device Unit was on scene, securing and removing the package.
A man from Leduc was taken into police custody but officers later said they did not expect criminal charges to be laid.
Police did not reveal what the contents of the suspicious package were.
People were asked to avoid this area of Leduc but shortly before 4:30 p.m., police said there was no ongoing threat or concern for the public.
