Students at Gerald McShane Elementary School in Montreal North were all smiles as they hosted the annual Generations Foundation holiday breakfast and toy giveaway.
“I’ve been pretty nice, so I hope Santa brings me something,” joked Christina Chilelli, the school’s principal.

This year, over 5,000 toys were donated to the organization.
The month of the December is the busiest time of year for Generations Foundation’s Adrian and Natalie Bercovici, who host and cater holiday events for the less fortunate.
“We are looking forward to a day off and less stress,” Natalie Bercovici laughed.
The toy giveaway has been going on for 18 years; the couple say their goal has always been to help those in need.

Generations Foundation serves meals to 8,500 students in 110 schools throughout the city.
