Police warn Edmontonians about release of violent sex offender

EDMONTON – Edmonton Police are issuing a warning about 34 year-old Kevin John Wadsworth, who was recently released from the Saskatchewan Penitentiary after completing a three-year sentence for sexual assault.

Wadsworth is a diagnosed pedophile. The Edmonton Police consider him to be a high risk to re-offend sexually and violently, particularly against pre-pubescent girls and boys, or females he is in an intimate relationship with.

He will be residing in the Edmonton area, where he will be monitored by the Behavioral Assessment Unit of the Edmonton Police Service.
