500 family service workers will begin a strike action across the Province today.
The workers include those who assist at-risk youth and people with addictions.

The B.C. Government and Service Employees union says the worker’s starting wage of 15 dollars per hour is not enough.
The union says many of them currently have to take up a second job to make ends meet.
