London Police say they’ve located the vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run collision in the city’s east end.
The Major Crime Section is investigating the fatal crash that occurred Tuesday afternoon after a woman was hit by a vehicle near Dundas Street and Ashland Avenue.
Police say the vehicle fled the scene and the woman died as a result of her injuries.
The woman’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Anyone with any information is asked to call London Police or Crime Stoppers.
Ashland Avenue was closed between Dundas Street and King Street for a few hours while police investigated.
