Some members of Canada’s Winter Olympics team will be at the Big White ski resort east of Kelowna in January for a party.
The resort is hosting a send-off celebration for the athletes before they go to the games in Pyeongchang, South Korea in February.

Big White was chosen over resorts in Whistler, Banff and Jasper for the event partly because it will focus on having families and children as most of the attendees.
The January 6 party includes a free concert.
