It has been five years since a young realtor from Vancouver Island was murdered.
On February 2, 2008, Lindsay Buziak was stabbed to death inside an upscale home in Saanich’s Gordon Head neighbourhood. Earlier that day, the 24-year-old received a call from a woman with a foreign accent, asking for a showing at about 5:30 p.m. Later, Buziak got a call from a man, who said he’d meet with her alone instead. Nervous, she asked her boyfriend to check on her later at the house. At about 6:15 p.m. police received two 911 calls, one from outside the house, then minutes later, one from inside, asking for medical help

Her murder remains unsolved.
“People want to know what went on that evening of February the 2nd,” said Jeff Buziak, Lindsay’s father. “People want to know why an innocent young woman was executed while working in a suburb of greater Victoria, in Saanich, in a nice little neighbourhood. They want to know what the heck’s going on, and I think it needs to be solved sooner than later.”
A website has been set up with details about Lindsay’s murder.
