Global Saskatoon’s SkyTracker weather school made a stop in Prince Albert, Sask., where the Grade 5 students at St. John Community School showcased their weather reporting skills.
Meteorologist Peter Quinlan was impressed with their knowledge about weather instruments like barometers and anemometers and how they respectively measure air pressure and wind.
The class went into an in-depth study of high and low pressure systems and blew teachers and the crew from Global Saskatoon out of the water with their quick understanding of the concepts.
