We managed to warm up to -11 by noon, but it felt around -20 with wind chill right into the early afternoon under mostly cloudy skies.

Mostly clear skies stuck around Wednesday night as an arctic high dropped by, drawing in cool air with the mercury falling back toward the -20s with wind chills making it feel around -30.

We’re hoping to reach an afternoon high near or just into minus single digits, but feeling close to -20 all day.
A system sliding in from Alberta will bring in some snow late in the evening and kick up southeasterly wind gusts upwards to 50 to 60 km/h.
Friday
Flurries will finish the week on Friday with temperatures only making it up into mid-minus single digits and winds pretty breezy, especially in the morning, with gusts up to 50 km/h possible.
The system will help warm us up into mid-minus single digits during the day, but it will feel like minus double digits with wind chill.

A high pressure system will drop in and help clear skies out for Remembrance Day on Saturday with more clouds moving back in on Sunday with daytime highs a few degrees into minus single digits both days.
