Roadwork will narrow Île-Perrot’s Don-Quichotte Boulevard by one lane in each directions this week, Transports Quebec announced.
The crucial boulevard leads off-island commuters to Highway 20 via a single bridge to Montreal.
“Jammed. All the way, for two hours it’s sometimes jammed,” said Pierre Sevigny, a resident.
Workers are opening up a small block of Don-Quichotte Boulevard to lay a natural gas line.
