A man and woman have been arrested after a series of alleged incidents at Walmart stores in Burlington, Oakville and Mississauga.

Halton Regional Police claim stolen items from one Walmart were being returned at another store in exchange for gift cards, which were then used to purchase prepaid credit cards.

Officers stopped a vehicle on Monday and arrested the suspect after finding him with more than $2,500 worth of pre-paid MasterCards and Visa cards, several other gift cards and clothing.
