Environment Canada has issued wind and rainfall warnings for several regions across the province.
The weather agency says that a low pressure system making its way up the American eastern seaboard will result in an intense autumn storm over Quebec on Monday.

The Montreal area could see between 50 and 70 millimetres of rain, while some areas north of the St. Lawrence Valley could see up to 90 millimetres of rain.
Global News meteorologist Ross Hull warned of possible localized flooding in some areas.
Motorists should be wary of water pooling on roads which can make for difficult driving conditions. Additionally, Environment Canada warned that washout conditions near rivers, creeks and culverts are possible and to be on the lookout.

Furthermore, strong winds — with gusts upwards of 70 kilometres per hour — could down trees and branches and cause power outages.
