Peterborough County OPP have made three more arrests as part of Operation Northern Spotlight — a co-ordinated, national investigation into human trafficking.
Police say the men are accused of purchasing sexual services from a girl under the age of 18.
They were identified as part of an ongoing investigation by the Peterborough detachment with assistance from the OPP’s Anti-Human Trafficking Investigation Coordination Team.
Russell Farthing, 37, and Shea Bertrand, 46, both from Peterborough, and Daniel Brown, 55, of Ottawa, are each charged with communicating with a person for the purpose of obtaining sexual services from a person under the age of 18 years.
They are scheduled to appear in court in Peterborough on Nov. 16.
