Couple orders storage bins from Amazon, find 29 kilos of pot inside

An Orlando couple put in an online order for some totes and when they opened that package, there was a special gift inside.

The couple, who wish not to be identified, ordered the containers to place some belongings into storage.

“We love Amazon and do a lot of shopping on Amazon,” the customer told WFTV.

When they received their package something seemed askew as it was way heavier than expected.

“They were extremely heavy, heavier than you would think from ordering four empty bins,” she said.

Once they opened the totes, the marijuana odour overwhelmed them as they discovered 29 kilograms of pot inside.

“When the first officer got here, she was in disbelief,” the customer said.

Police are currently investigating but no arrests have been made yet.
