A Burlington teenager has been rushed to the Hamilton General after a serious crash Tuesday afternoon.
Just before 11:00 a.m., a motorcycle and a car collided at the intersection of New Street and Shoreacres Road.

Police say the 18-year-old man on the motorcycle was thrown from the bike and suffered life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car, a 21-year-old Burlington woman, was not hurt.
Halton Regional Police are asking any witnesses to contact Detective Constable Vu of the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-825-4747 ext. 5056.
