A 37 year-old teacher facing child pornography charges has pleaded guilty.
An investigation into Dwayne Schnell began in January based on a tip from the National Centre For Missing and Exploited Children. He was arrested one month later at his home in Lethbridge.
The tip originally came in in December 2016, after an image determined to be child porn was discovered and flagged through Skype. The Crown prosecutor said the girl in the picture was believed to be between 11 and 13 years old.

Seven more images were flagged by Yahoo, also determined to be child porn with the child in the same 11 to 13 age range.
Additional charges were laid after more images were discovered on cloud storage accounts.
On Tuesday, Schnell entered guilty pleas to distributing, publishing and making child pornography, for offences dating from December 2014 to February of 2017.
A pre-sentence report will now be ordered along with a forensic and psychological assessment and a risk assessment.
Further details about the victims cannot be reported due to a publication ban.
Schnell will remain out on bail with a number of conditions and is set to be sentenced on March 15.
