Kellywise the clown terrifies Anderson Cooper in ‘It’ parody on SNL

Kellyanne Conway, played by Kate McKinnon, made a terrifying appearance on Saturday Night Live this week.

Donald Trump’s advisor took a turn as Kellywise the clown, a parody of PennyWise the clown from the movie It.

In the movie, Pennywise attempts to lure a child into the gutter with promises of popcorn and balloons. Similarly in the SNL skit, KellyWise attempts to lure CNN presenter Anderson Cooper (Alex Moffat) into the gutter with promises of her own.

The skit opens with Cooper’s show ending before he heads out on the street reading a sheet of paper. With heavy rain and winds, he loses the paper into the gutter.

As he reaches into the gutter to retrieve the document, a pair of eyes appear, before Kellywise appears.

“What did you do to your makeup?” a frightened Cooper asks.

“I toned it down,” Conway replies. “Put me on TV.”

Cooper attempts to get away but Conway offers up something special.

“Wait, don’t go! Don’t you want a quote?” Kellywise asks. “I’ll give you a quote. A crazy, crazy quote. How about this?

“OK, so, Puerto Rico actually was worse before hurricane Maria and the hurricane did actually blow some buildings back together. And I don’t know why Elizabeth Warren won’t tweet about that.”

“That’s insane,” Cooper responds.

“I know. Do you want another one?, the clown offers.

“Ok So Secretary (of State Rex) Tillerson did not call the president a moron,” Kellywise explains. “They were sharing a Sunday and the president asked if he wanted more sprinkles and the secretary said more on.”

After threatening Cooper with his worst fears, Hillary Clinton replaces Pennwywise in the sewer.

She lures Cooper in with a free copy of her book.
