Two mothers who overdosed on heroin were found by emergency workers as their newborn babies cried in the backseat of an SUV in Florida, CBS News reported.
Boynton Beach police released an officer’s body cam video as he surveyed the SUV.
After checking up on the mothers, he made sure the babies were doing well.
“Do you want your pacifier?” the police officer asked as the babies wailed at the top of their lungs.

The police officer was able to soothe one of the babies with a pacifier as both mothers recovered from overdosing.
Kristen Leigh O’Connor, 28, and June Schweinhart, 29, were treated with Narcan, an antidote that reverses opioid drug overdoses.
Both mothers were at rehab together when they were pregnant and became close after learning that their babies shared due dates.
O’Conner drove Schweinhart to meet her former drug dealer and the pair bought heroin for $60 and they overdosed after snorting it.
The babies have been given over to close family members after both mothers were charged for neglecting their children.
