Ostrow said there were reports of an explosion but that hadn’t been confirmed by CFD.

“As far as we know, nobody has been in the building but we haven’t been able to enter the building because of the large volume of smoke and flames.”

The hazardous materials team was also called to the scene to take air quality readings.

At least one car was burned outside the building.
