Ashton Kutcher has been a gun owner for most of his life, but even he wants to see stricter gun laws in the United States.

The Ranch star took to Twitter on Tuesday to advocate for new gun control legislation after the attack in Las Vegas which left at least 59 dead and hundreds more wounded.
While many of Kutcher’s followers supported his sentiments, a number of others fired back in response.

Kutcher displayed understanding to those who disagree with him, urging a conversation at the very least, as well as tweeting a message of prayer to the victims in Las Vegas.
