RCMP in Nova Scotia have arrested a man who allegedly broke into a liquor store by smashing a window with a rock.
Police were called to the liquor outlet in New Germany on the morning of Sept. 28, after someone had broken into the store and stole several bottles of liquor overnight.

By 7 p.m. that evening, officers had arrested Chris Russell, 31, of New Germany, N.S. and recovered the pilfered booze.
Russell was charged with break and enter, mischief under $5,000 and breach of an undertaking. He spent that weekend in jail and has been released on conditions to return to court on Oct. 25.
