Christmas is still 84 days away but the drive to bring toys to kids in need is ramping up today.
Santa traded in his sleigh for something with a little rumble to it at the 39th annual Vancouver Motorcycle Christmas Toy Run Sunday morning.

Motorcyclists from across the Lower Mainland gathered at Coquitlam Centre to ride through Port Moody and Burnaby to the Pacific Coliseum in East Vancouver.
Anyone who rides a motorcycle is welcome to take part in the toy run every year – they just have to bring along a new child’s toy wrapped in plastic.
The toys will be donated to the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau (LMCB) and will be distributed to children throughout the region.
In 2016, about 2,000 motorcyclists took part in the event and about $20,000 in cash was raised to help the LMCB.
