Police say one man is dead after falling from a balcony early Sunday in Halifax.
A report from Staff Sgt. Ron Legere says police responded to a building in the Bayers Lake area around 10 a.m.

The 39-year-old man was declared dead at the scene, according to police.
Leger said the 39-year-old man appeared to have fallen from a fifth floor balcony by accident, but he said the investigation is ongoing.
At this time, police say the death is not suspicious.
