Alberta election 2017: Coaldale results

Incumbent Mayor Kim Craig has re-taken the job after receiving 1,149 votes in the town’s municipal election on Monday night.

Craig beat mayoral candidate Jack Van Rijn, who had taken the most councillor votes in the 2013 municipal election.

Also elected as councillors were incumbents Bill Chapman (1,561 votes), Jacen Abrey (1,430 votes) and Roger Hohm (1,288 votes).

New to council are Briane Simpson (1,475 votes), Henry “Butch” Pauls (1,291 vote) and Doreen Lloyd (1,212 votes), say preliminary results.
