Three dogs seized by animal control last April have been stolen from the Revelstoke animal shelter.
On Monday, someone cut the chain link fence of the shelter and took ‘Kilo’, a male pitbull terrier.
Two days later, someone broke into the shelter and pried open two other kennels, taking ‘Luna’ and ‘Ruby’ – both female pitbull terriers.
“These dogs were involved in the vicious attack on a local resident of Revelstoke back on April 21, 2017,” Cpl. Thomas Blakney said in a news release.
“As a result these dogs were seized by animal control and held, as they were deemed dangerous and a risk to members of the public.”
Anyone with information about where the dogs may be, or who stole them, it asked to call the Revelstoke RCMP.
