The occupants of a Kelowna duplex will have to find another place to reside after fire forced them from their home early Thursday morning.
The fire was reported shortly before 4 a.m. in the 1500 block of Gordon Drive where some wooden pallets were found burning behind a business.

Kelowna fire fighters said the flames spread into the attic of a nearby two-storey duplex, forcing the evacuation of four adults and one child.

They said, due to the fire damage to the duplex, the residents will not be allowed back in.
No pets were involved.
The fire is considered suspicious.
