2 men found overdosed in Montreal’s Lucien l’Allier tunnel

Two men overdosed in the tunnel that connects the Lucien l’Allier metro station to the Bell Centre overnight Wednesday.

A Bell Centre security guard called 9-1-1 to report the men who were lying unconscious on the ground at 11:30 p.m.

“When officers arrived they found both men, each with a syringe in their leg,” said Montreal police spokesperson Benoit Boisselle.

“CPR was administered on-scene, the 32-year-old victim was revived and he was transported to hospital in stable condition.”

The second victim, a 40-year-old man was transported to hospital and remained in critical condition Thursday morning.

“The traces of drugs found will be tested and analyzed to see what substance was in the dosage.” said Boisselle.
