2 Spruce Grove residents wanted on multiple warrants arrested

After a joint investigation between the Stony Plain/Spruce Grove/Enoch RCMP’s drug section and general duty members, two Spruce Grove residents wanted on multiple warrants have been arrested.

RCMP arrested Coady Blenkhorn on Sept. 1 and charged him with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of break-in instruments, resisting or obstructing a peace officer, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and multiple counts of failure to comply with a probation order.

During the investigation, police also located Chanelle Vandal-Lauman and charged her with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and multiple counts of failure to comply with a probation order.

Both were remanded into custody and both are scheduled to appear in Stony Plain Provincial Court on Sept. 13.
