Steve Roberts, executive director of wildfire management, said the worry continues to be hot, dry weather.
There are three out-of-control wildfires in the northeast region that have burned 110 square kilometres of timber and bush.
One of the fires was within three kilometres of Pelican Narrows.
Roberts said he expects a fire ban in all provincial parks to continue through the weekend.

Duane McKay, commissioner of fire safety, said the threat level is very, very high.
