2 men injured after shooting in North York

Two men are in hospital after a shooting at a large gathering in a North York neighbourhood Sunday afternoon.

Toronto police said officers responded to calls about multiple shots fired in the area of Shoreham Drive and Shoreham Court, near Jane Street, just before 3 p.m.

Officers located one male victim who was conscious and breathing. Toronto paramedics transported him to a trauma centre in stable condition.

Another male victim made his way to hospital, according to police. The extent of his injuries is unknown.

Police said a white SUV was seen fleeing the area.
